Donald D. Mansur

Funeral services for Donald D. Mansur, 79, of North Smyrna Church Road, Washington, were held Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Smyrna United Methodist Church with Randy White officiating. He died Thursday, March 15, in Washington.

Mr. Mansur was a native of Lawton, Oklahoma, and was the son of the late Veda Vivian McCall Mansur and Minnis Alvah Mansur. He had lived and worked in California, Texas, Indiana, and Virginia, as a preacher for the Church of Christ and as a salesman. He worked as a salesman for Chandler Equipment Co. of Gainesville before his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Garrard Mansur of Washington; a sister, Vivian Mansur Clark, Abilene, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Mansur and Jim Green of Goleta, Calif., and Vonnie Mansur and Gene Corsini, Pittsburg, Kansas; two sons and daughters-inlaw, Michael and Paula Mansur, Portland, Oregon, and Gregory and Jeri Mansur, Gainesville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
