A memorial service for John West (Jackie) Callaway Jr., 71, of Temple, was held Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. He died Tuesday, June 23, in Dallas, Ga.
Mr. Callaway was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late John West Callaway and Eunice Carey Callaway. He retired from Wachovia after 38 years of service and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Smyrna.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, April B. Callaway of Temple; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Tina Callaway and Kyle and Eve Callaway, all of Cumming; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Jon Groseclose of Douglasville; and nine grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141-1827.
