Mary Tolbert Tucker, 84, of Washington died Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
Mrs. Tucker was a native of Oglethorpe County and was the daughter of the late George C. and Clara Boswell Tolbert. She was the widow of Bennie L. Tucker of Washington.
The family received friends at Mrs. Tucker's home on Glen Street, Washington, on Thursday, July 23.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Becky Tucker, Washington, and Randy and Mable Tucker, Washington; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Danner, Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Brad and Vonnie Tucker, Kevin and Lori Tucker, Amy Danner, Becky and Kyle Reese, Charles Danner, Melisa and Greg Scott, and Chrissie and Pembroke Pope IV; and eight great-grandchildren.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
