Graveside services for Peggy Moody Howard, 74, of Washington, were held Wednesday, August 12, 2009, in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with Rev. Rob Brown officiating. She died Sunday, August 9, in Wills Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Howard was a native of Union Point in Greene County, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Iris Moody. She was a homemaker and previous owner of Hendricks Florist for 10 years. She was a member of Ficklen Presbyterian Church where she served as treasurer for over 30 years. She was the widow of Joseph Chester Howard.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Bob 1232-08 A BC PSC Ad 6x4 2 /26 /09 P ickens, Washington, and Beth and Will Boyd, Spartanburg, S.C.; a brother, Bobby Moody, Conyers; a sister, Ann Buffington, Morrow; grandchildren, Gabe Wilder, Kasey Maddox, Trey Boyd, and Graham Boyd; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Wilder, Mason Wilder, Parker Eldredge, and Ashby Maddox.
Pallbearers included Gabe Wilder, Trey Boyd, Graham Boyd, Tommy Howard, Stefan Wilkes, and Dalton Howard.
