Herman Lee Mauldin

Funeral services for Herman Lee Mauldin, 88, of Rayle were held Sunday, March 8, 2009, in County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died Thursday, March 5, at his home.

Mr. Mauldin was a native of Paulding County and was a member of County Line Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 49 years. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Maude Mansfield Mauldin, or Rayle; two daughters, Mary Mauldin Tankersley and her husband Jerry and Martha Mauldin Lawrence of Thomson; two brothers, Raymond Mauldin of Cornelia and Jack Mauldin of Washington; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Eddie Walker, Clay Walker, Brian Bailey, Rodney Shedd, Jonnie Walker, and Bobby Walker.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
